HAVE YOU TRIED OUR PODCAST?

Hello explorers! I am back with my first podcast experience. I am going to briefly write about what I learned from this task given by our instructor.

First of all, I want to thank Yunus Emre KOÇAK for his efforts and being a great team-mate. He editted the recordings and added the sound effects. He also has a great blog, if you want to check it out, click here. We recorded a very interesting sound-rich story about an uninvited clown. This idea was not easy to find to be honest, we needed to brainstorm to come up with such an idea like that. But recording part was the best among all aspects of this task. We not only narrated the story but also did voice-acting at some parts. This process requires more effort as we should make sure that the story is coherent, cohesive and understandable.

I believe that making a podcast is highly effective for teaching language as it is useful for both the listeners and the recorders. Improving pronunciation, creating meaningful context and enhancing vocabulary skills are examples of advantages for both sides. As a result, I will definitely give my students a podcast task. Listen to our podcast!
