Hello explorers! I feel so emotional right now as the term is over again… Even though everything has an end, that does not change the fact that we learnt a lot of things on this road. Was it easy? Absolutely not! However, I can’t help but feel glad to have this course! When I look back into my previous posts on this blog, I find myself having a smile on my face. Because it is full of my work, my ideas, my friends and our accomplishments. This blog is not just a product of an assignment but in reality it is a part of my teacher identity. It reflects so many things about myself and my potential. I am greatful for my instructor Gökçe Kurt for her works on this journey, she put a lot of effort on each of her students! She meticulously gave feedback about our work and motivated us in every possible way with sincerety.
I feel that I improved my skills related to technology tremendously. This was a topic that I was very insecure about actually. “Am I qualified enough to teach younger generation, what if I am way behind the current developents, how am I going to deal with these problems?” and many more questions haunted my mind before I took this course. Now, with the help of this course and my instructor, I view digital tools and technology as a world to discover rather than a threat to be scared of. Technology exists to make our lives easier and save our time for more beneficial things. It is our friend in this teaching process!
My favorite tasks were the ones that required design skills. Infographic was very fun to work with as I was free to design an infographic based on my own taste as long as it was suitable for the task. Also podcasting and storytelling were challenging but at the same time very fun! I worked really hard with Emre to come up with good ideas as we both are perfectionists!
As a result I do not see the time I consume to discover new tools as a waste but rather an investment for both of my future and my students! I want to keep my blog as a teacher diary and I will continue experimenting new things here. Keep on dreaming and trying! Bye for now…

An amazing piece of work ^^
