EDUCATION or SCIENCE FICTION?

Hello EXPLORERS! Welcome back to another semester on my blog. I missed working on my blog posts and creating new things a lot. Hopefully we will catch up with each other while working on new projects of my brand new course! It is called “Current Issues in Teaching.” But, what it really is about?

As we all know education is among the things that are affected by the developments in technology. Technology requires an elaborate integration into education to be utilized most efficiently. Which tool should I use as a teacher while teaching? When should I use it? How can I use it? These questions are extremely common and important to answer. In fact, these are the exact problems which this course aims to solve. 

By experimenting with the new tools available on the internet, we will work on facilitating our teaching process with developing technology. Beacause, when used properly, technology, especially AI, can be a great material. Besides AI, there are many different tools with diverse purposes that we can rely on as teachers. At the end of this semester, we will have a deeper insight toward technology with education in English classrooms. And eventually, we will improve our competence as future teachers.

This welcome back post is the beggining of a new chapter that I am looking forward to sharing with all of you. What are your expectations from me this semester? Let me know. And take care!
