THE LAST PAGE

Hello Explorers! Time really flies, doesn't it? As I write the final blog post of the semester, I think about all the assignments that I created with my friends. When I look back, this course made me rethink what teaching actually means in today’s world. Before, I mostly focused on lesson plans, activities, and classroom management. However, throughout the course, I realized that teaching is deeply connected to social change, technology, and students’ real lives. One issue that haunted my mind was the role of technology and AI in education. Instead of avoiding it, I learned that teachers should help students use these tools responsibly and critically. This changed my perspective on what it means to be a teacher in the digital age.

Another important point for me was learner diversity. I became more aware that students do not learn in the same way or at the same pace. Technology enables endless opportunities to students with different needs. Understanding learners’ needs, backgrounds, and motivations is essential if learning is going to be meaningful. This made me question traditional teaching approaches that assume all students are the same.

Overall, this course helped me see teaching as a flexible and never ending process. It encouraged me to reflect on my own beliefs and made me more aware of the responsibility teachers carry. I feel more prepared to adapt my methods, question my practices, and never stop learning as a future teacher. Thank you for joining me in this journey! Take care!
